Looks awesome , better than my own MAP mode maps...  :)

I've been away for a while and I come back to this interesting new concept.

Is there a link to the first of this series of Mess As Creeper maps? What are we doing here? Looks like the objective is to lose, but what controls do you have?

You control every unit that is not yet on the map. So anything that's already built is controlled by the AI (and will automatically rebuild), anything you build yourself remains under your control forever. The objective is indeed to lose... with your own tools.

All other MAP maps are my maps found from:
https://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=20226 is first .
https://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=20310 is second.
https://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=20410 is third.
And this mode is MAP = Mess As Player , stdout , not Mess As Creeper...  ;)

I found this one a real challenge, couldn't figure out my strategy and ended up doing something that was probably over complicated. Suspect RrR found an elegant solution!

Spoiler
I built a forge at the bottom with snipers guarded by shields and then used the singularity to walk the creeper round the top to take out the top energy syphons. I then distroyed the forge and rebuilt at the top and repeated the process at the bottom.

I sitll think with this type of game that there is a danger that if you are surrounded by creeper and there is no where to build you can end up spending long periods of time just watching. I don't know if there is a way round that.

Almost identical
Spoiler
Only aimed to take out the top berthas before moving forge to top.

I should probably limit the forge next time. I only used the singularity to make it go only a few cells further, not the entire way around. It was meant to be a challenge to generate as much creeper as possible with the runners to destroy your while defending your own position on the other half.
Spoiler

I first took out both lower bertha's and a few strafers before walking my way round the top (singularity-assisted). I rebuilt the forge twice to get rid of some upgrades.

I hope it gave some inspiration for more MAPs ;D

This map requires so different strategy, sort of pac map that needs us to use our stuff to get the creeper going, the hints to use the forge blackhole were the best when I got so much creeper piled up they can't defend themselves and I got it.
