The ton of HP make no difference.  If you can bring sniper fire on him you have the ability to control the creeper, he's going to go down in time anyway.


To taunt him I killed him with snipers on that central island he's orbiting.

What do you suggest then, more healing? because I would like to make a big fight kind of like this so any feedback would be nice

Just my 2 cents: a boss fight isn't really a boss fight if you can leave the game on for two hours without touching it without being destroyed. It has to keep you on your toes in some way, whether that be shooting projectiles that can't be avoided, or gradually increasing in power as the player progresses, or spawning new enemies occasionally, etc.

A simple way to do it for this map would be to make only one spore come at a time for a while, but every few times it sends spores, it increases the amount of spores. This would counteract forge upgrades affecting beams, and would mean that eventually it will be firing enough spores to actually land some.

Or, maybe if you damage it past a certain point, a chunk breaks off and flies at a random unit, creating an emitter where it lands. This would be especially challenging if you moved the nullifier tech to the middle.
Pretty sure I'm supposed to be banned, someone might want to get on that.

What I thought might be interesting, is when its health is low enough it will fly at random
I do like the idea of its power increasing over time

I don't know how hard it is to control the path but a slow spiraling out would be a challenge.

Here is an idea quite literally taken out of Log Horizon, every time the Raid Boss drops below a certain threshold (like 10% hp - 100-90-80-70-60-50-40-30-20-10), it would change it's attack pattern and even use new special abilities, some quite nasty if you don't avoid them. Maybe something like that can be adapted here. What i learned from Log Horizon, is that when you fight, if damaged and unable to procede, retreat, learn, repeat, until you "master" it enough to beat it. The only problem is i don't know if people like the idea of repetition and learning something new. And Yes increasing the strength/frequency/amount of the attacks over time to discourage idling should also be something to consider with it.

I am working on a mythic mode :)
he sits on his island until he reaches a certain point and then goes crazy flying randomly and dropping mass aoo everywhere
it may take a while till I upload it though because I need to beat it :)
