I enjoyed playing this map, it is a good start.

Though I felt that you forced players to use a single strategy, that is to get the Thor and to erase everything with it. Which isn't bad if you want to demonstrate Thor only but new players won't learn anything else. I write 'forced' because it's almost impossible to beat this map without the Thor  (especially for new players) because you banned mortars and snipers.
The other thing that was strange that you placed the only totems around the most difficult emitter (it's not easy at all to nullify, even when the Thor is around) so basically there is no opportunity to practice Aether use and Forge strategy which in my opinion is one of the most important things that has to be learned by new players.

I haven't played this one, but just as a side note/strategy for situations like this, you can use totems even when they are submerged under creeper.  Just send guppies to charge the totem.  If you don't want to lose the guppies, watch them and send them back to base as soon as they are about to be destroyed.  It's a slow process, but it does make it possible to use the forge.
Omnipotence doesn't mean the ability to do what is logically impossible. It's possible, therefore, for God to create beings with the kind of free will that can choose between good and evil, but he can't also force those creatures to choose good. If he forced their choice, it wouldn't be free.

That's not strictly true. IIRC, the cost of the Thor mandated this, but the map is eminently payable without the Thor.

ETA:

I'm always puzzled by the "suitable forbeginners" tag people attach to maps. No-one gets to Colonial Space and needs maps this easy. While there are many insanely hard maps here, I really think players do want a bit of a challenge, not just a walkover.

Definitely, that's an alternative way (could be also done with CNs) but requires lot of micromanagement (without pack speed upgrade one guppy can send only 4-5 packs to a totem while on creeper or digi before it is destroyed). I use this technique only occasionally (when I lack a few Aether required for a vital upgrade and there is no other way to get Aether). But micromanagement - I suppose - was not among the intended strategies for this map.

Bottom lines:

Easy Thor with weak emitters is pointless.

Hiding the only totems behind emitters is mostly pointless.

Otherwise the map had good potential.  I liked the easy to nullify emitters in the ditch that were then hard to use.

You can walk across the top of the map with massed cannons.  The Thor is needed to get the totems before the end.

Well some things to work on in future maps then!

Also i replayed the map myself and I the placement of the totem was quite wrong,
however the thor I found you didn't need but made a big help.

I made lost colony 2 better for forge training and also bertha training for beginners.
More to come soon!
