It's a matter of very precise timing. You need to take them out in the sequence they will activate, and before they do activate.

None of us did either. You have to play it a few times and figure it out.

looks like knight tour..........

You can just brute force your way through this. If you neutralize the bottom two rows of Emitters, you will have tons of powerzones for Blasters/Morters and nullifiers.

I now finished this map and feel qualified to comment.

Even if one grasps the clues in title and description, there is still an element of trial and error (multiple saves) that makes it "not fun". There are no clues to progress other than hard experience. It makes the map binary (fail, learn to beat the next emitter, progress) around the emitter sequence.Once learned, it must be written down or otherwise noted to enable a speed-through. There are no alternatives. After destroying 2 emitters, the sequence is lenient enough to guarantee completion if one has the sequence - and failure if not.

Having said that, after the 9th in the sequence, it's all over.

Spoiler
Recipe to completion. Determine the first 9 emitters that will erupt, destroy them in sequence and within the allocated time. after that, rush to completion.

I just posted the sequence, i think. I haven't played the map yet, but from ham's post, take the grid from top to bottom as 8 to 1, from left to right as A to H, and you get the starting position and direction of the sequence (from top left, go right and continue).
