The only challenge is getting enough beams up in time. Beyond that it's just a repetitive slogfest.

I didn't use beams. I'm guessing a lot of the top scores didn't either.

I mucked up the start, but didn't want to start all over again - my bad.

How? I attempted a pre-emptive strike on the beams but I didn't have enough time.

How?

I built three Guppies in the PZ's above the base area and was able to take out the Spore Towers with time to spare. I then used the Guppies to start taking down the Emitters* from the top, whilst attacking normally from the bottom.

Middle of a different map now, so can't post a screen shot.

Huh? When I landed a CN up there at the start the nullifier got nailed before it was ready to fire.

Not sure where you're trying to land that CN, but the only safe place is at that "U" shaped area down below the block of PZ's.

I tried landing one up by the spores to kill them before they came online. I know the position can't be held but when you have extra CNs it's sometimes useful to drop them next to non-emitter enemies--pull them out as soon as the nullifier fires. It's normally a lot faster than a quick guppy.
