Being dissatisfied with the space island maps generated in DMD, as they are usually consisted of a few large islands, I wrote my own generator that makes maps composed of many small islands sometimes growing together into larger ones. I posted a few of the generated maps to CS.

My question is: should I keep making and uploading such maps, and with what parameters?

I can change the size, amount and size of islands, amount of digitalis, number and strength of emitters, number of totems and ore deposits.

Nice confusing use of #-tags. :)  I wanted to check the popularity of your series, and wanted to call them up. First, if I use your name (Pawel345), I get all your maps and maps that mention you. (Eg. Map 146).

Then you used tags on the random-generated series as follows:

Map 96:    #Void #digitalis #Spores #Space
Map 99:    #Void  #Digitalis                 #Islands
Map 108:  -
Map 120:  #Void #Digialis #Spores  #Space              #CRPL  #Flip

Note that "Islands" and "emitters", being separated from any #, is not a tag

Essentially you never established a specific tag that will pull up your Space Islands series. :(

However, we can still look at the 4 maps in the series for their # plays and rating.

Map 96: 25 scores, 14 ratings, rated 8.14
Map 99: 26 scores, 12 ratings, rated 8
Map 108: 35 scores, 18 ratings, rated 8
Map 120: 38 scores, 19 ratings, rated 7.74

That might give you a clue as to whether the series is continuously popular, receives good ratings (which I think it does), and whether you might want to continue. :)

You can  also compare each map with it's adjacent neighbors for #downloads, to see if it is being downloaded more or less than maps of similar age.

I haven't played maps 108 or 120 yet, but I like these a lot.  I think my favorite feature so far is the look of the digitalis pieces extending from the islands.  So far, the maps seem to be pretty well balanced.

Thanks for making them.  I am definitely keeping an eye out for new ones.

Hmm seems like I need to make one naming convention. I will start naming those maps with Generated Space Island map nr. And as tag I will use #Islands #Void and then tags to describe enemies so usually #Spores #Digitalis. I will try to upload the on a semi-regular basis. If anyone want's me to generate a bunch of maps and just upload them to the forums(so I don't have to post scores) pleas say.

Also I can change enemies/allays (so emitters, towers, totems and ore deposits) to any CPRL core(like for example emitters->Flip emitters). So if anyone what's me to make a map with a certain enemy please say so :D

I suggest you also use a hashtag just for these maps, like #genspaceisland or what ever you think fits.
For the enemies you could take the corrupted enemies in some of them, there is a list of them somewhere in the coders corner.
