perhaps the phantoms are full of AC? did you wait for one to hit and see if it was C or AC?

well the map "starves" you of energy so i turned off all but 10 of the tech domes at the start and turned them back on as i had the energy later.
you need to move fast, lost of reactors and gra the DBeam, get it built to block the creeper channel and keep going for the mirror. you can vacuum the AC by the LS and use makers to take it to the front, and you get some CBombs too!
you need to be efficient and aggressive on this one. paly pause using "n" to advance, it helps stay out of an energy deficit

This map should not have any dark beam....
It can be done without it.
