I can finish this map, but I have a nagging feeling that I'm not completing it "as designed". My main problem is that I have to move the LS over some creeper barriers to get the units that I need. Is there a way that this map can be approached where the LS remains in one area? The way I play it I have to jeek juggling the LS to power all my beacons and research towers. From the completion times it would appear as if I'm off-base.

You have described exactly how I did it. I assume this juggling is a deliberate part of the challenge.
