Post by: gussimos on February 26, 2012, 06:33:54 AM
I have just brought CW2 (have been playing CW for years) and it refuses to install. As soon as i click continue on the create new folder segment of the installer the system just freezes and i get a not responding from the little black box that comes up.
any one had the same problem/fixed problem.
please help.

Was it installing AIR or Creeper World?

If it was installing AIR try installing Adobe AIR 3.x.x.x (whatever the latest version is) from the official Adobe website and try it from there. For Creeper World, you might want Virgil's help.

What's your OS are you running, and what amount of memory do you have and what CPU do you have?

Reboot your system and try to install Adobe AIR directly.  You can get it from here:
http://get.adobe.com/air/

Then, give the game install another try.

Adobe air was already installed but i reinstalled to check and it didn't work.
i have a windows 7, 18 GB and a pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU.
my computer is kinda old but i've had CW installed and working for years.

18Gb of memory with a Dual Core!? Wow.

My only other thought would be to download the demo, then make it full version. Like I said before, this sounds more like a Virgil thing...

If you have done a full reboot, made sure you have plenty of free hard drive space, and are logged in as an admin but you still can't get the .exe to install, send email to support@knucklecracker.com and I'll give you a link to some other things to try.
