Title: Transferring game data
Post by: Pjard on February 25, 2012, 10:09:24 AM
I have a new PC that I have reinstalled CW2 on.  I tried to follow the instructions on transferring my game progress but copying the gamedata.dat file.  However, the only file I can find title "gamedata" is indeed in the CW2 folder but it is a .txt file.  What am I missing or doing wrong?

Go to %appdata%/CreeperWorld2 (if you play on windows) and there you'll find 3 files: gameData.dat gameState.dat and keyData.dat (you'll also find the save files and the folder customgames). If you see .txt in that folder I don't know what to do.
I don't know the location on other operating systems (but you can find them somewhere else on the forum, don't know where)
