This is one of those maps, where you literaly have to sit for 30 minutes before you can even reach the techs on the bottom, and then you still have to dig through three rows ore... The rest of the map is fine, but the first part makes this map too slow and boring for most peope. This map would have been much better without the beginning.

The map is well thought out and well done. But not being able to do anything for 30 mins at the beggining is aweful! Im tierd of map creators doing this... Give us something to work with off the bat. Even if it's just one item... Something! PLEASE....

One day when I'm doing homework or something I think I'll stick this in the background and let it run until i can actually play it. I haven't voted yet and it might stay that way if the rest of the map can make up for the bottom.

There are tactics you can use in the first bit.  I picked up my ore rig tech at around 24 min.

It really doesn't matter unless you can genuinely say you had fun waiting for the anti-creeper, or possibly even worse waiting for the ore rigs to get through the ore blocks. The goal of maps (should) be for people to have fun - even if it's a small group of people, but I can't imagine anyone finding it fun to wait and do nothing for 20+ minutes.

I was only do nothing for about 8 mins, from memory, but I certainly see your point.  I'd much rather if it wasn't in there.  I think the only fun I was having was finding a new way to get through the creeper that no one else had found.  I'm not the most innovative at CW2, I just wanted to share what I'd come up with.  Basically, I dug out a basin above the first chamber you are in, then opened the creeper chamber so that it spilled up into the top.  Once a fair bit had come out the top, I opened the AC and creeper chambers at the bottom.  Basically destroyed that chamber in process, I doubt it has much application to a normal game, but maybe?

That is the tactic I used. It took me about 30 minutes to get all the techs.
