Title: Sound effect when placing a unit
Post by: Karsten75 on March 15, 2010, 07:30:16 PM
This bugs me sometimes. The sound effect when I place a new unit is the same regardless of whether the area is suitable (black square) or unsuitable (red square). Sometimes when attempting precise placement of a unit in a confined space (perhaps sending a blaster in to clear an area) I might move the mouse slightly, meaning the placement is unsuccessful, yet the sound makes me think it worked.

It would be very nice if the sound for a failed placement would be different from the sound for a successful placement.

True (yes, again I agree with you! ;)).

To me this sometimes gives me the wrong impression when I try to place a unit at the location where another unit is located that I already instructed to move (which by the way is a nice feature!).

Well, I've noticed that we sometimes view Who's online at the same time, so you may be right....  ;)
