Title: Closing Dialog Unpauses Game - Bug?
Post by: Tink on March 15, 2010, 12:20:19 AM
In version 380 of CreeperWorld, closing a dialog automatically unpauses the game.
I'd expect the game to stay paused if it was paused before the dialog is opened.

To duplicate:
1. Play any map on CreeperWorld
2. Pause the game
3. Open the Upgrade, Options, Help, or Exit Game dialog
4. Close the dialog
5. The game will unpause

I know it's not a big issue, but it is a little annoying.

Hi Tink, don't tell me you used the search functionality of this forum!

Look in the suggestions board, it's right here (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=767.0), almost on top....

No, I was bad and I didn't use the search... :-[

But I don't think it would have helped anyway - when I type 'pause' into the search box, only this post comes up.

That's because you use search when you're viewing this board. Try it again from the forum index or use the search button on the top left.

This "pause" issue is probably the most annoying, and something I will try to get fixed pretty quickly.

Heheh, you wonder why you didn't see this response here (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=767.0)?

Well, at least it's getting fixed now, so I'm a happy man! :)

Yeah, I saw the other posts and added it to my list when it was first reported.  I do read most posts even if I don't comment or reply.  Most of the time I take note and add things to my list if it makes sense.  The pause thing is pretty much cut and dry as something that "should be done".
