I got interrupted before finishing this map.  With a bit of care, it's possible to get down there and destroy the gateway before the creeper chambers are opened up, so that you can open them when you're ready.  Without experimentals, it feels like the rest will just be a bit of a slog, but then I tend to be an overbuilder...

I thought about allowing the use of experimentals, but then, where's the challenge?

No need, IMNSHO, for experimental. Experimentals are overused in most maps.
