So, basically, this is a building. It's like a relay, but really cheap and quick to build.
Why? Cuz it has a timer. After that's done, it explodes.
I came up with this almost exclusively for Corvus, but it would work in any similar scenario when you have vulnerable survival pods you need to get quickly, or if you just like to rush forward in bursts. At least, with how I play that level (get survival pods first, build infrastructure and defenses second), it helps.
Thoughts? Yes? No? Meh? Not really usefull enough? Awesome? Et cetera?
I'll choose et cetera...
No, really, I liked it.
Every structure I built in Corvus I used to the end ... Corvus is IMHO a great example of how to play the game - lean and mean to win. Building disposable structures goes against the concept of the game.
Actually, I don't get rid of any of those structures. I usually lose one of the Relays, I forget which one. Then I set up defenses and try to choke the Creeper off so that I can actually get enough power to not be in massive deficit. Still, it might be interesting, but I suppose you have a point.
Here's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UaIkZlNiw0) a vid of how I play it. I can do it a bit faster and the top players are even faster, but as you can see, nothing goes to waste.
