Some long maps can be fun. This is not one of those. Way to much slogging.

That was a bit painful, the millions of creeper that you have to go through during the intermediate section should be reduced to thousands. But that is my opinion. Nice layout on the map though.

I thought your Demo version of this was terrific and a lot of fun to play, but not this one.

Not being a map-maker, I don't understand the urge to use overwhelming Creeper at various points. Obviously, the players can hole up and pound on Creeper streams with the Launchers, AC, and Blasters...and - after a very long wait - overcome the stream.

Since there is no actual playing action (just wearing it down), the game loses its interest - at least for me.

Please understand clearly that I think your concepts, graphics, and basic game play are fantastic. Perhaps the overly prodigious Creeper streams are just too much of a good thing.

I quit after pounding on the Creeper down in the Bunker compartment for about 20 minutes and figure I'll just go back and play the Demo version again - as I said over there, that was a fun game.

I played this one all the way through.  I normally like maps that are long and require a lot of power and weapons.  There is another map like this one, corvus temple, where you have to build and charge squadrons of makers just to get past the choke points, and I really like that map.  The problem here, and please take this as constructive criticism, is that there are 2 spots minimum where you basically set up mortars and walk away for 30 minutes.  Thats not really game time...

I loaded it into the editor and removed the restrictions on buildings so i could build 30 mortars and 40 tech domes and it was a lot more fun.  I also allowed 1 conversion bomb.  They cost 80 pts, so you cant use them a lot that way, but they help in the couple of spots where you have 600m deep pools of creeper waiting...
