drones will not path through m-rifts if there is no normal path.
Drones will only use microrifts when this would shorten the path to their target. They will also try to avoid anti-creeper.
Could you please post (attach) a screenshot so we can determine why a certain path is chosen?
Drones don't use m-rifts when there's no path whiteout using a m-rift. Cubic 3 shows this; remove some ground in the lower-middle cube and the drone don't attack you, when you connect the chamber normally they start using the m-rift.

That is correct... and by design. Drones have to have a normal path to a target before they will use a micro-rift as a shortcut.
that's what i figured, but it seemed like a bug
