Idea for custom maps ...
How about targetting spore atacks ? I mean that you´ll set up that this spore falls there and this spore falls there
(all if they´ll not be stopped by SAMs)
I know that it will take some time but in the end :) Then player can´t be sure from where to where spores will fly & fall ... :)
