It should be an option to play the maps on diffrent lvls .
The harder you choose the map to be as you play ,
should change your score if you manage to finnish it .
EKS :
Easy :
No penalty to build ,
builds as much as you want and the score countdown is the same .
Normal :
The penalty to build is that the score goes down the same as it cost to build the tower you build ,
and the score countdown is the same .
Hard :
The penalty to build is that the score goes down the same as it cost to build the tower you build ,
and the score countdown is 50% faster .
Extreme : (Expert)
The penalty to build is that the score goes down the dubbel as it cost to build the tower you build ,
and the score countdown is 100% faster .
Then the map makers doesnt have to choose how hard the map is ,
and all uploaded maps will have the option to be played at the lvl of difficulty you select .
There should be some members that has an idea to improve this idea more .
And there should be an scoreboard for each difficulty lvl .
hard has nothing to do with score, it has to with elevations and intestive of emmiters
It would be possible to relate the intensity of the emitters to the level of difficulty, like:
Easy: 50%
Normal: 100%
Hard: 200% (now called 'double down')
Expert Only: 300%
BUT, the best maps are fine tuned. The Creeper will reach certain points at a time determined by the map designer. This would be ruined by such a thing, so I guess everything should stay as it is.
Maybe this can be used in an new version of the game .
But anything might give an idea to improve this game , or a new game ,
so keep on posting .
I would like to set difficulty in map editor, and then the game can have a filter for difficulty so I can choose the map of my choice.
