Title: Chronom Missions for CW2?

With the code maps, we could bring back the chronom missions. Just make a standard of using the "today" date as a code with a preset date format...

Maybe MM/DD/YYYY  or YYYYMMDD (for sorting dates)

But I do not believe there will be highscores for codemaps (or will there be?)

There is already a "today" button for code maps, in the format of "June 14, 2011", along with a random phrase button. :)

as for highscores, im not too sure, but it could be possible.

that would be a LONG list. The only way I can see it being possible is if you had little wheely things like they did for chronom on the scoreboard, but for every letter... and however many letters are possible.

It's just a normal text input line, like the browser's address line that you can enter whatever you want into and get info about the map+preview ;)

If the maps were put into categories (easy, medium, hard)(or something like that), then I'm sure it would be easier than having a bazillion named maps with 1 score on it :) (assuming of course the "like type" maps are all pretty much the same game play idea, so one cant complain how a person only got 5 minutes when they got 15 because its harder or something like that). There could be 10 levels of difficulty, or what not.. Anyways, just my two cents worth...

I guess also adding the name of the "code" or map name to that list might get other people picking same map to try and do as well or better? :)

Yeah, did not dissecate the code missions screeenshot. But how do you know the date format it writes?

WHAT?! I thought Code maps were coming out in Update one which virgil said would be in the next week. I thought the editor would come out august

60 character limit...
52 letters +10 numbers +30 symbols = 92 (Don't know all possible symbols)

60^92 = a lot more than 12 billion if I'm not crazy... But I'm probaply crazy though.

Even if it were only 26 letters with 60 character limit, that's nearly 8 with 84 0's on the end.
If we're talking even nearly 100 different symbols, that's 1 with 120 0's on the end.

That's pretty insane.

Note that numbers and most likely all symbols count too. along with the possible options. you are limited to 4 billion maps per setting through, due to the uint

you also didnt fully quote me either i said that its as good as its gonna get right now as i believe player maps would be better than the code maps and virg can always update the editor with new stuff as he sees fit
