Title: What size does towers use ?
Post by: SPIFFEN on February 08, 2010, 11:02:01 AM
Is there anywhere there is an guide of how much space things need to be build ?
I made some custom maps , but towers dont use the space i think they do =P

If i make space for 3 towers to be aside of eachother ,
the final map gets room for 4 towers  =P

It would be easyier to make custom maps if the towers used 2X2 or 3X3 squares ,
and not 2,xx X 2,xx something .

they r 2x2 in size, but r centered on 1 square so that they r halfway across the sides, and a quarter in the corners

they use a 3x3 builder, that's an area of 9 squares

yes but pay careful attention to when u put one of them down, it doesnt fully take up 9 squares, otherwise every tower would have to be at least 2 squares apart

Here is a map I created to test unit placement. It seems that the minimum space for a unit is a 3x3. Thereafter it needs an increment of 2x2 for each additional unit.
