While there isn't a .air file to download directly from the knucklecracker.com site, you *can* extract the air file out of the windows executable (.exe) then use the native linux version of adobe air to play the game.
- download and install adobe air from http://get.adobe.com/air/
- mark the adobe air installer executable:
$ chmod +x AdobeAIRInstaller.bin
- run the adobe air installer as root:
$ sudo ./AdobeAIRInstaller.bin
- download the CreeperWorld installer exe file (ie CreeperWorld-0346.exe)
- open the installer exe with fileroller (in ubuntu, right click on the file and choose "Open with Archive Manager"
- extract the .air file (ie CreeperWorld-0346.air) to your desktop
- double click on the .air file to install it
the game will now run natively under linux.
saved games are located in ~/.appdata/CreeperWorld/
knucklecracker: perhaps you could distribute the .air file separately to make it easier?
incidently, i'm running the game under ubuntu 9.10 with an atom 1.6ghz processor and it's running fine. :)

doh. my search didn't find that thread.
at any rate, performance seems a bit better with the native AIR over wine.
