Now its getting interesting.
And dont think that this will be easy. Capturing the final stages will need more than 10 mortars.

I'm wondering whether you put that message about mortars into the description deliberately to mislead players, or whether you actually played this map using mortars. That's hard to believe given so many things in this map seem to be specifically designed to make mortars useless, and drones are much more effective in this map.

I used mortars.
Was just a hint as I seen that 10 mortars hadnt at first any effect.
And, taht emitter in south, wont ever reaching you, was especially against mortars.
They "take" the mortars shots ;D
I made the final with giant amounts of mortars and some (7) blasters at the top stage they hold it so long I could build collectors to connect.
I have to say, at first it was much harder, I made it much easier, was impossible for me before.
Next stage coming soon ;)

I posted a video of my 12:17 score on YouTube.


However, just now I beat that record again. Right now it's 11:28, but I still have ideas on how to improve it further... this map is seriously addictive!

And one thing, I think,Timwi, you made it on Double down right?
I wouldnt try taht on map #19.
This map is nothing against 19.
I failed at clearing an area (to make connection) seven times.

I thought cause of the Creeper on your video seemed to be much stronger than as I played it.
Or was it just because i had 5 mortars in range of Creeper?^^

Yes, probably. Remember I used only blasters, which have a limited range and cannot shoot over walls; when I attacked the central area with drones was the first time that anything attacked that creeper at all.

Tactics is everything!
Great technique.
I was thinking of trying to break 20 with my Blaster & Mortar combination, but will have to give those Drones a try.

Concur with "this map is seriously addictive!"

A hint for map #19
You might have not enough space.
But....you can move finished blasters with full ammo outside.
I made it so, moving ca 20 blasters outside the tower and used my clearing tactic to capture tha ground.
Idk how to do it otherwise...
