before I uploaded this map I intended to remove some of the mines and make the emitters more powerful.
but with some more time I suppose I could really make a good map... something that would challenge even the most experienced player...

I bum rushed the mountain in 1:41.  I can't believe saca beat me still, lol.  I totally thought I had this one. :P  I'm sure I can tighten things up more and maybe eek out 1:37. ;)

Neat concept...and a fun map to watch.


EDIT: NICE!  1:27!!!  I'm thinking you really can't get much faster than that without bridging as the nodes couldn't carry the packets fast enough to really go any faster.  We need time measured in tens and hundredths. :P

EDIT: 1:20 without abusing SAMs. You can still improve that 1:27.

Wow, 1:11?  I would really enjoy seeing a video of how you did that.

Before the mission starts I paused it and purchased all but the faster refire upgrade  and basically beelined nodes directly to the totems and another line directly to the techs (straight line from closest relay with detonating grenades).  Also had about 8 guns built while those nodes were building to send to the top and cap off the nodes.

How'd you do that?

The only thing I can think of, is I'm running this on a cheap netbook that doesn't run flash very well.  Sometimes game time does not sync right when you are running slow.  Is there a trick you're using I don't know about?


EDIT:  Ok, I got it down to 1:22 but I'm not seeing any way you could do 1:11.

EDIT2: Lol, 1:21.

EDIT3: Got 1:14 using...

SAMs (after figuring out what you meant).  Never really considered using them to bridge like that to save time.

Yep, That's what I meant. Everything after that comes from timing and placement.

1:10 *Does snoopy dance.*

While I sent blasters forward to the crater rim (when I was done using each to accelerate the building of collector lines) I really relied mostly on manual detonation of mines to control the creeper.
