well, i was trying to find out why my email in my profile wasn't hidden, and i discovered that the check-box that you check to hide your email was already checked. Here's a picture:

But when i looked back at the main page of my profile it wasn't hidden. Is there something i'm missing? here's the picture:

Your email address will always be visible to yourself, admins and moderators, regardless of that setting.
