Already working on it! http://knucklecracker.com/blog
I will also be releasing a free flash version of CW2 along with another free flash version of CW1 that features the best of the custom maps that players have created.
This is a quote from
here (http://www.kongregate.com/accounts/whiteboardwar).
What do you guys think?

I think at least 5 of my maps should be included.... ;)
And on a more serious note: old news, see
here (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=4769.msg25143#msg25143).
well, i saw it at kongregate, and i thought i'd bring it up again. also, it isn't very ontopic there. welll...
We should vote on which maps get chosen. Maybe start with nominations (map makers can't pick their own maps ;)). Then vote on the nominated maps for the best ones. Maybe even different categories for "unique" maps.
yes, thats probably what he's gonna do. I like that one!
Edit: but that raises some problems. what if its part of a series?

Change the text of that map (or all) and change the title.
but... but... i suggest that you just don't do any series maps.
because doing that would wreck the map in some cases.
I would vote for Kap's Temple Map! Make it the last map, seeing as it is both challenging and deadly ;)
yes, that would be an exelent one!
No, they should all be about med-hard, so people won't get turned away from an extremely hard map.
you shouldn't have to complete one to move onto the next so you could just list that as the 'ultimate challenge'. then you could tell people that if they need help go to the comments for that map and then they come to this site. excilent spam... (sortof)
You have to know that this flash game is intended to lure new players, who haven't ever read the forum and don't know about any game mechanic, giving them the Temple of Moloch is like giving a baby a rubik's cube.
Just remember how many of us had a lot of troubles with Tucana, but if you'd put that here as a custom map this would be medium at most, or take The Bowl, the first times I was completely puzzled about this map, but now, once more, it's nothing but a medium map.
I think the best would be to include some easy maps, some medium ones and one or two hard ones (maybe so they'll ask for help in the forum), cause I'm pretty sure that giving newbies expert only maps will cause them to say: "Well, if it's that hard I don't care about the game anymore" and that's exactly the opposite of what we all want.
I saw a baby solve a Rubik's Cube once! I swear!
maybe 5-10 of each "hardness level" ?

You are right, what we consider simple, new players will have a very difficult time with. And as for each hardness level, we need to remember it was the map makers who chose them, so it may not be quite (or even very not) right.
A good place to start could be an old thread of Karsten "Ed.'s picks" (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=1004.0) I thought, this was actually meant to select those easy, fun and not too hard maps.
I think Grab N Run by Dan is a perfect fit, then... Not hard at all, but it can be if you don't play it the right way :D
Why don't you guys leave all of this up to Virgil? It's his game and he's more than capable of selecting maps that will be suitable for his intended purpose.
Yeah, that is probably the case. But yhen it is not fun to talk about. We need to make it as complicated as possible. Then it is fun. ;)
Yes :)
