Post by: Katra on December 27, 2010, 12:12:26 PM
Next weeks theme has been selected by me and will be:

USS Enterprise

The maps to be played before Sunday Jan 2, 2011 at midnight (forum time) are:

Mapdate
information

1.May 16, 1775 (http://knucklecracker.com/creeperworld/viewscores.php?missionGroup=chronom&month=4&day=16&year1=1&year2=7&year3=7&year4=5)
The first USS Enterprise;  captured from the British and renamed as a US warship on Lake Champlain
2.May 12, 1938 (http://knucklecracker.com/creeperworld/viewscores.php?missionGroup=chronom&month=4&day=12&year1=1&year2=9&year3=3&year4=8)
Commissioning date of the USS Enterprise aircraft carrier that served in WW2.
3.February 18, 1977 (http://knucklecracker.com/creeperworld/viewscores.php?missionGroup=chronom&month=1&day=18&year1=1&year2=9&year3=7&year4=7)
First flight of the space shuttle Enterprise, piggyback on a 747.
4.April 16, 2151 (http://knucklecracker.com/creeperworld/viewscores.php?missionGroup=chronom&month=3&day=16&year1=2&year2=1&year3=5&year4=1)
NX 01 (of Star Trek:Enterprise) commissioned.
5.October 4, 2363 (http://knucklecracker.com/creeperworld/viewscores.php?missionGroup=chronom&month=9&day=4&year1=2&year2=3&year3=6&year4=3)
NCC 1701 D commissioned.

Yes; future history; courtesy of science fiction.  ;)
Unfortunately there does not appear to be a precise date for the commissioning of the original Star Trek Enterprise NCC 1701.

The winner (best total score) gets to pick next weeks theme. If we have the same winner as last week, the runner up (#2) will pick the theme. See here (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=4621.0) for the rules and an overview of themes.

Please post your progress/total scores in this topic to ease the calculations at the end of the week.

Good luck and enjoy!

Well it looks like I won this week, I'll do some
adding up and post my solutions shortly.  ;)

* did not finish all maps

MAP 1: May 16th, 1775

This map was a lot of fun, I bombed with my drones
near the two Creeper Emitters. I made 2 runs with 1
and 1 with the other, I think.  ;)

MAP 2: May 12th, 1938

Now this was a tricky map! It took me awhile to
get exactly what to do, but I ended up using this
setup: (NOTE I ONLY MADE 1 RUN WITH THE DRONE
NEXT TO TOTEM).

MAP 3: Feb 18th, 1977

A test at bridging . . .  :o

MAP 4: April 16th, 2151

I made a breakthrough right at the end of the tournament,
I realized you only need 2 blasters! This is what made me
win this week.

MAP 5: October 4th, 2363

This one was a basic fool's mate map.

I'll pick next weeks' theme tomorrow, too tired tonite.
