The winner (best total score) gets to pick next weeks theme. If we have the same winner as last week, the runner up (#2) will pick the theme. See here (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=4621.0) for the rules and an overview of themes.

Please post your progress/total scores in this topic to ease the calculations at the end of the week.

Good luck and enjoy! :) (It would be nice to beat Kenenisa Bekele; 5 maps instead of 5 kilometers. ;))

I've done a few... left the 4th one running at like 5 minutes... so I have a terrible score, but I don't have time to redo it. Oh well. Maybe later. I've kind of abandoned CW forums in favor of passing college... sorry guys =[

Just play a map when you take a little break from studying, which will relax you and make you study better in the end. ;) "The string always strained snaps at last."

Unfortunately I won't be able to play this weekend, so most likely these are my final results, which means I probably won't be competing for gold this time. Too bad now good old Siccles is back....

Expect the overall tournament results a little later than usual on Monday.

Nice to see you participating! :)

No, that's the forum time adjusted to your time zone. Forum time is GMT/UTC minus 6 hours (so a difference of seven hours with your Danish time) as stated in the main topic (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=4621.msg23547#msg23547).

Keeping OC and 2 sams flying long enough to power all those collectors must have been a fun job. Maybe you should have been one of the aces in the last tournament.  Congrats.

map nr.4 with one sam was actually much harder to manage than map nr.3 due to the tiny margin you had to work in.

I would like to know your starting position for map #5. I couldn't get all the collectors built in time.

Post by: ctuna on October 25, 2010, 05:00:46 PM
L'ythelle, I did it the same way, started on the island at 11:00 on the map, moved to the larger island (you see the gap in green coverage) as the last collector built on the far left, then down to fly the last totem. It took several tries to get the timing right after I figured out it was the only way to do it.

My solutions for 1 & 5 were the same. I knew what you were trying for map 4, but unfortunately didn't have time to try it myself. Neither tried (or even considered) the bridging for map 3; nice! I actually expected you to bridge for map 2 as well, so I gave that a shot when my girlfriend got up for work yesterday morning and that worked even better than expected. I shouldn't even have tried though, because apparently this assumption was wrong:

When I posted my score its time stamp said something like 0:55, so that score doesn't count and I'll use the old one (just as 2:58 for Siccles). I must have made a mistake with that time zone, or did daylight saving time already start last weekend in the US?

Anyway, I'll calculate the totals right now and post the new maps to be played. Siccles already PMed the dates & data. Sorry for the slight delay!

When Siccles keeps spending this much time on the tournament maps I may have to live with a second place for a little longer than 1 week.... ;) Competition is fun indeed and it will certainly force me to stay alert (and luckily could also give me the opportunity to be able to pick a theme again).

Every week, see here (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=4621.0). This was an important reason to call it a weekly tournament. :P Normally I use the Monday to determine the final results and post them. The winner (or number 2 when applicable) sends me a PM in advance with theme and map data, so I can create the according tables. Theoretically positions can change up to the last minute, but this has never occurred before.
