You might need alot of firepower here ,
so make enought energy to support it .
And you might need it faster than you think ,
to make room for build up .

I must be missing something to get higher scores - I work symmetric, and only allow 2 paths for packets, and keep energy high with no depletion.  Some maps I get high and others I cannot.

How can I learn from the true masters?

Scott - Ignore those unbelievable scores you see. Some of the 'players' use a gimmick (code that posted around here somewhere) to "float" a piece between totems and collectors. The piece never touches down - so it doesn't get destroyed - but it maintains the connection long enough to finish the game.

Look through the scores to find that of the map's creator and judge your skills based on that.

Well, I have never used that gimmick. It's a tactical question. First try to build the smallest defense necesary to keep the creep. Then build as much energy as you can, then build blasters and mortars as needed and attack, attack , attack...
