You're tucked in a corner of the map and increasingly under fire. It's a bit much in the beginning and you will need to move on land and space in a short time to succeed.
Another great map, thanks JC. The start was tough until I just focused on getting the Mk7 ship up, then that was enough to keep the attackers at bay. Bit more work to capture some land afterwards but its supposed to be a challenge right! Anyway a pleasure to see some decent PF maps again. cheers.
Ditto on the fantastic map praise. So many different tactics to try from that initial start location with both ships and omni deployment being critical. Loved the initial scarcity of gems - your choices of where to use the first couple really matter.
My Mk7 pushes did not fare well so shipwise I pivoted to the dual lathe ship and pushing up the middle, sacrificing the anti stunner ships if needed. Blue particles for the win.
Tried splitting the omnis north and south as well as focusing north or south. Has most success focusing north with careful three to five omni hit and runs on key targets while building a reserve.
