Isn't the mortars' red glare beautiful?

As always Johnny, make sure to tell me how you beat it.

Dunno why ya got anyone rating this as a "1" dude. It's a good, solid map.

I took a chill approach and terped off pretty much the entire SW quadrant with a 10-high wall. The berthas and PZ terps made it pretty easy. I was so chill about it that I forgot to build beams, lol. Turns out it wasn't that bad though - lost a few reactors and such but the AC kept it from doing too much damage.

Plenty of AC, power zones with pre-built berthas (!) - yeah that makes it pretty easy right there.
I should add that the first thing I did was grab all the aether deposits - that helped a lot.

IMO, everything about this map is cool. I mean, only 2 totems isn't great, but you offer enough of the gem deposits to make up for that - so I really have no idea who would rate this a "1".

What's even cooler about this than most maps is that you're fighting so many different aerial enemies - spores, bombers/fighters, and the special mortars. The variety is a really nice touch.

Great job, and thanks for the map! =)

Whoever gave it that rating is probably just a new player. They open CS for the first time. See a cool map, download and start it, and get obliterated in the first 3 minutes. 1 out of 10. Next map.
What looks like an easy map to you or me is quite hard for a casual player.

Did the Cbombers give you much trouble? Did you go straight to the inhibitor?

No, I upgraded range 3x right away but just didn't build enough beams for the spores + Mortar + bombers.

With many maps, once I get a foothold I go afk while the totems charge up the forge so that progress is a little faster when I come back. (I rarely go for fastest time because that tends to take more RL time).

So I did that and then took the top emitter first, then moved east pretty quickly.
