I couldn't figure out what you're meant to do, but I (all by myself!) thought of a brilliant and elegant alternate solution where you simply wait 2 hours until the totems are fully 100x charged to provide your new forge once you moved your command node down below.  It turns out with the pickup below you still end up 30 aether short of the 5th range upgrade which is what I assume you need to reach the lower right area with a terp.  My plans were foiled and it turns out I don't know nothing

Neat map, I'm humbling accepting pity explanations or hints of how to win

You're on the right track, looking at the scores. I had the same idea but figured the totems needed to be charged to 20/20, so I depleted the totems to 0 and charged them to 20.

Ended up 3 aether short the first time and 2 short the second time, lol.

Pretty sure I'm just gonna call this one a win and fix the map later. =P
