Mission 2 of my Caldera series. Please comment and give feedback. Thanks.
Nice map.
i like the way that you just have to fight it up you can't take any shortcuts or anything. and it preaty hard
next time though i think you should make the terrion look more natral. or put in some explanation for it in the story.
But overall, a good series

There was some story in the start of the map and the artifact:
Story:
[OPS]
Commander when we went through the last rift it just teleported us to a different position on the same world. We are still on Caldera. That last spot wasn't to tough but we should keep our eyes open. Currently it appears that we are at the bottom of a large set of steps but I can't tell what is at the top. Your orders sir?
[COMMANDER]
Start a scan of the area; let me know if there is anything of interest.
[OPS]
It appears that there is an artifact on this world. It may tell what is at the top of the steps.
[COMMANDER]
Prepare the city for battle. Lets get to the artifact.
[OPS]
Yes Sir!
Artifact:
[OPS]
Commander we have analyzed the artifact and long ago these steps led to a great temple. It was destroyed when the creeper first started attacking these worlds. There appears to be nothing more of value here. Lets get the totems activated and see if we cant get off this rock.
So the steps lead to a temple so they are man made and that explains the symmetry and the terrain which looks like marble.
Ok I get it. I didn't look at the artifact too closly.
Lots of fun, aggressive mthod, all or nothing, worked out !
