I have absolutely no idea how I can establish a base here. any hints?
Really good map, very novel.

With a big collector grid and fast building you can take out 3 emitters and clear one of the pools completely of creep before the walls come down. You have to act very fast though and get your upgrades right.
Yes it is nice level.

I used a more lengthy solution than D0m0nik, I also built a big collector grid and took out 3 emitters (it needs upgrade building speed), but then the waves of creeper destroyed my defenses and I retreated with my cannons to the middle flat. I was surprised that it was possible to survive there and expand again.
Thank you both for the recommendations and tips. I'll try this out tomorrow

When dealing with deep creep mortors are much more efficient than cannons. I found a terp or two quite useful in the early game as well!

I can't imagine how you can get three. I haven't even succeeded in getting two or clearing one.
Update--managed to nail the second one just before the walls came down, didn't clear any, but I just barely was able to hang on.
