interesting map, but I didn't understand the blue things that had to be nullified. They didn't seem to do anything? or did I misunderstand something? I could connect them to the grid, but that didn't do anything.

Hi Martin
Those little blue blobs are an interesting map development that decrofull has figured out how to use....
Spoiler
Try using a nullifier on them... and once a blue blob is gone... apply a syphon on the hidden gem to obtain the goodies... sometimes there is yet another gem or two and usually a standard resource under all the gems... His hidden gems can add a lot of suspense...
Enjoy
PS... You may also enjoy playing technotiss' 10 planet solar system in Alpha Sector... he just uses the basics... but his maps get progressively tougher...
You may also enjoy the layout of namless's Map #1116 "the walls" in Colonial Space... Whoever built that map planned a precision layout that allows the mortars from one level to suppress emitters one wall level higher up the map... And placing mortars on PZ's... suppresses the emitters two levels higher up the map...
Spoiler
More fun if you don't blitz to the end...
