As similar solution to the first map, to clear the creep on the left island.
However, some new things this time:
Spoiler
- A hidden sniper and collectors need building in the totems
- some hidden PZs need sniping below the nullifier
- I used the first mass driver in the left part of the top island to make some landing space for the CN, and with careful positioning, a place for the sniper to snipe
oh well, don't expect more maps coming any time soon
?
hmm?
I will be waiting here, whenever you want to make your next map :)
Thanks for making these :-)
Perhaps I am the only one who enjoys your maps??? :-D

There you said it.
I won't make maps just for you.
While I don't play your maps often, I certainly don't want this game to die, my friends.
Let's do our best to keep it alive.

I agree to that, but I won't make maps for same person to plow through every time. Especially since said person never makes even one map himself.
This was an idea I had and I wanted to test it out. Nothing more than that
Off topic but uhh, I'd like to get into MG style puzzle maps but I can't really understand them, often landing, looking around and doing random things then leaving.
Is there an easy map or 2 so I could get into these maps ?
Thank you, wanting to play "my maps" means a lot to me.
It's not easy to pick good maps from those I've made myself, because that could look at a compliment to myself. I tried to pick maps that aren't too hard, but that still provide some insight into my ideas.
here's the list:
8142
8218
9119
9492
9286
9657
10303
thank you for playing

Ironically, I had come upstairs with the intent to look at this map and just make a little note about how I appreciate the maps you make. I had just been thinking about how little appreciation you probably get. I'm dismayed by how correct I was.
I'm rarely able to finish your maps or figure them out unless I ask for help or Wease has posted about them, but I really appreciate your cleverness. I don't have the right kind of mind or the patience for mapmaking myself, but I admire people like yourself who have the ability and willingness. This isn't an attempt to persuade you to change your mind, I think you have every right to decide how to spend your time and your reasons make sense. But I do appreciate what you've done.

I don't appreciate being called out like this for not making maps. I seem to be the only one completing and commenting on your maps - do you want me to stop doing that, again?
Should I not "plow through" and complete these maps?? How long should I wait? I don't understand your comment at all.
Think of yourself as an artist showing your work in a gallery - people come to see your work and appreciate it, but there's no expectation that they must also pick up a brush and make artworks, in order to be part of the community.
Your artworks are like a Picasso in a gallery full of landscapes - I think most people come along and say "I don't get it", leave a 1 rating and go away again. But they are missing the point of it.
(If you _do_ want to make maps that appeal to more people, then perhaps omit the hidden/offscreen/invisible units, most people will not look for these, and the map will just seem impossible)
The problem is that I agree in most what you said and thank you for the compliments. Calling you out here is maybe not the nicest thing, I apologize for that as well, but your infatuation with "my maps" is frustrating in light of nothing coming back.

I am assuming that "nothing coming back" means "not making maps in return" (correct me if I am wrong)
Again, I think your expectation that people who play your maps should also produce maps is not valid.
I'm sorry you feel that way; and that it is frustrating for you. I can only reiterate that your maps are appreciated.

I feel pretty similarly about you! I'm able to finish your maps more often than I can MG's, but they're still tough and I think you probably don't get as much appreciation.

Thanks. but I don't really need that recognition. I make the maps primarily for myself.
Of course, kind words are always appreciated.
man... i'm married... every nice word counts
