You go to another planet in the star system, And you find that the Creeper has gotten to this planet too!, Luckily there's a lot of AntiCreeper on this planet, And also a new tech artifact... (warning: this map requires a decent amount of patience, if you do not like long maps, play something else.)

Training Aid
An aggressive starting layout is a balance between risk and fast map completion times...
Spoiler
Start the map on 4X speed and watch how far the creeper spreads in the time you need to build your units... My memory is not that good any more... so I save it...
Then continue and note the time you have till the spore towers fire... If beams are needed... and I have built enough reactors for a good excess supply of energy... Then... it takes me a little more than a game minute to build and energize enough beams... Without a forge to strengthen your beams... count the no of spores and multiply by +2 for the MINIMUM number of beams needed... beware leakers... and the odd spore that the computer flings to attack recently built relays...
Check for the gems... This map has LOTS of large green Energy gems and one (hidden) large orange Ore gem...  So an extremally fast buildup is possible the instant a single green gem syphon is built...
So restart and build your layout... Note the screenshot... And how every item but one syphon is turned off using the PC keyboard "O" the "C" keys... Being a mistake prone over-the-hill gamer... I save my initial layout... before pushing and holding the "N" key down to land the command ship(s) which charges the adjacent first green energy gem syphon...
Warning the attached layout is too big for a single 500 energy gem to activate and build all of the units at once... SO... I just "Shift" tap a syphon - a collector - a relay and then tap the "O" & "C" keys to activate all of those for immediate construction...   Once a few more green energy gem syphons are charged... you can lift your finger off of the "N" key which stops the game... and calculate if you have accessed enough FREE energy to "O" & "C" key build everything else in your initial layout wish list...
Being an old timer... my reflexes, memory and attention span are way too slow to use the "P" PAUSE key/buttons... so I always use the "N" key... a single tap of the "N" key advances the game perhaps 1/30th of a game second... And one of the senior CW3 gamers recently said that holding the "N" key down advances the clock at 1/2 the 1X minimum default speed...
After that... its just GO GO GO...
The creeper will soon tell you if you risked too much...
Good Luck !!!!!!
