Nice work Loren!

On the last map we talked about doing some screen grabs on this map. Have you got any of your start?

I am just starting mine. Anyone know how you put images inside spoilers?

Just wrap the image tag inside a spoiler.
Eg:
  [spoiler][img][/img][/spoiler]

Thanks Karsten. I still don't get it though, the attachments are below the text and don't seem to respond to the command (I don't get script or the like at all!)

You can't spoiler something you attach to the post. You have to upload the image to an image hosting site. Then the img tags have inside them the URL to the hosting site. Ask in general or somewhere or Google it if you need more help, we're going off-topic  :)

Nice map Alex, love the terrain design/texture.

Love the last one! A little OCD  ;D. I was tempted to do some more housekeeping but I was a little busy, story of my life!

I think the collector is the most powerful per pound unit in the game, I always try to maximise it early on.

How come you did not set off the AC on the right hand side?

Didn't think of screenshotting.  I started in the bottom of the square to quickly kill the inner emitter, I didn't even think of starting on the side.  The side start does look better.

yes - it is probably an obsessive-compulsive disorder. Pretty to my eye has a bit more priority than being fast. I often think: "Oh, I can afford one or the other terp." To be honest, I had forgotten that I put ac-bugs in and especially "where". But your approach is of course eye-opening.

The AC bugs aren't really all that useful.  They'll clear the zone they're in but until you can power snipers it's not going to flow beyond that--and by the time you can power snipers you've got the firepower to take down anything that can be reached by air and the AC you can harvest isn't actually that useful.

Is there any way to tell if a bug emits AC without shooting it first?
