How do you get a chain reaction?  You kill the first group to show up and you also kill the digitalis.  The nest shuts down, the chain reaction dies out.  All the AC is gone before it reconnects.  I've managed to trigger it twice before I died, but it didn't do any good.

as you can see from the scores, my solution is probably not the fastest. But that's how I originally designed the map.

Place a cannon on point one to put out the digitalis leading south.

then a sniper on point 2 to take out the runners. you may have to fly back and forth several times.

Did you have to sacrifice that Sniper to kill enough AC bugs?

Once you get the bugs popping, the map becomes easier.

I Used a sniper to start popping them. Eventually the digitalis joined up from the east and the bugs started escaping. So I used a terp to make a place for the sniper to keep the reaction going

There is a hidden power zone just west of the starting point. A reactor there helps the energy situation

While the rest of my performance isn't the best (I'm never good at fast) I found an even better start:

You need perfect timing:  Snipe the initial runners the instant they emerge.  At that point the chain reaction is self sustaining with no further sniping, although sniping will speed up the AC production.

this is map is too random with the ac if you are not at the time at the position it s the end

There is nothing random about the AC bugs, all that is need is a little timing.

Great map, really enjoyed it. Bit late to the party on my part, very little free time at the mo :-\

After a couple failed attempts, I hit the forums to see what I was missing. Once I saw the comment about the AC bugs it was pretty easy. What Loren describes is exactly what I did too, except that I did add 4 more snipers for extra AC production.

I'm not really a fan of the AC bugs but it's something different and that can be refreshing. But I prefer a straight-up, brutal fight with no hidden charges or fees. Still, I enjoyed this battle and am thankful for the forums which keeps us from having to find which bugs are which.
