What is the reason for the non standard height colors?
I have a kind of mild color blindness. I see some color nuances better than others. so this is just for me

is there a standard?
there are a number of "themes" of land in the editor...
has anyone done any data gathering on which is most popular?
i suppose it is the "default", but i have used so many i am not sure which that is... first in the list, yes?
yup, left side was the key... and yes, I like it organized... :D

That is impressive.
You know the collector is an essential part of the energy network, far efficient than the reactors in my opinion.

especially when they are so cheap
Starting in the left corner I was able to hold off the spores for long enough to survive.
I started half way up the left side, used the AC emitters for reactor power zones and then put a bertha on one once set up. It was pretty easy from there.
this is obviously the much faster option. I like it cozy in the corners

you're both totally right, I just don't like them personally spread over the whole map... I tend to remove all collectors as soon as I can build my base with reactors.
Most of the time I play maps for visuals and fun, not for speed, highscore or efficiency ;D
