Well you have certainly succeeded in creating a challenging start. Not too sure if you have been too successful though! The start is quite obvious, it just takes about 20 minutes to get your base going and a lot of that time is spent juggling a beam over a pz in creep. One for the extreme turtlers out there! I'll have another go later.

D0 - Hah!
It might take YOU 20 minutes to set a base, but I'm at 20:21 and just starting to build a Terp.
I'm surviving the Spore attacks, holding off the Creeper, and looking forward to getting the power build a Forge and finally start playing.
I think it will be fun when all is said and done, but not yet.

I got there in the end, fine tuned the start and got a decent base with forge, 7 reactors, 1 cannon, 2 mortor, 2 beam, 1 guppy and 1 terp in about 11mins. Restarted about 6 or 7 times though!

The positioning of the two mortors is key. They both want to defend the top/bottom and also part of the middle.

You should give it a look, challenging from start to finish, probably the hardest I have ever played.

My original version was a lot harder... I had to reboot over 30 times to establish a base. But this map would then only be made for about 5 players or so...

That looks interesting. But my wife probably wouldn't let me play anymore today  :-[

I'm at 43:50 and almost have the first island captured. It's only a matter of time now.

Whenever I play cw3 she comments: ah ok - are you saving the world in 1990 again? I guess she doesn't think the graphics are pretty... that's probably a woman's thing.
