Ok, I'm stuck.  An hour in and I still can't find the trick to getting through the gap that surrounds your starting quadrant.

Nice to see a PAC map again, it's been a while. Thanks for making this it was good fun  :D. To the above, make a bunch of spores and fine a spot where you they can make it to the void (near the power zone connectors worked for me) and concentrate your emitters near that spot. keep the field pushing over and the creep will eventually make it to the opposite shore

nice to see an "oldschool" PAC map again, i kinda missed those.

also, this one is fun, thx for the map

to the question: i concentrated fire near the 2 northern beam emitters in the void and pushed the creep north, that woked for me

I tried this, as I've never tried a PAC game for real before. I can't get anywhere, as the bottom corner is too well defended. What am I missing?

Do you know you can destroy units and place new ones on the PZ? Also if you aim a spore tower exactly on itself it will release creeper as it explodes before the PZ beams can target it. I think if you select an emitter and then press the E button it switches to a burst mode, handy for putting down digitalis.
Other handy shortcuts include:
1 - digitalis tool
2 - Emitter
3 - spore
4 - push tool
When digitalis is selected use E, R, T to change the digitalis tool size and switch between lay and delete digitalis.

I find shortcuts make the maps a lot more playable!

My first steps are:
Aim the two spores at theselves, change the emitter to pulse. Once you have digitalis over the totem you can use the push tool to start to work out and take the PZs and other totems

I would recommend giving the PACs a good go, there is a wealth of old maps, some of them are really brilliant.
