I loved the little marine figure! I was surprised he wasn't roaming, but at the same time kinda glad.

I think if you load from a save the marine powers reset, even if the pillars had been destroyed.

Thanks for the comments!  I took a quick look and I see the shields being reset on load, though the other powers stay off.  Good catch, and sorry about that.  It makes sense since it looks like just plum forgot to set the variable that would have kept it turned off.  I set it for the other powers.
