I think it's fair to say this is a quite a bit more difficult than cw3 Farbor. I think it's still possible to get an early victory, but it's hard to get enough going fast enough to do it.
Also, I hadn't realized how scary mass forbs are before playing this mission. I didn't realize the glops themselves damaged buildings (I thought they just made creeper), and if all 3 connect it's practically an insta-kill on a building no matter how many turrets are covering it.
Man, this is tough!! I gave up after about 10 failed attempts lol. May try again when the nerves have calmed hehe
Emitter floods island in less than 4 minutes and my pulse cannons are totally useless in fighting creep like this. Theres a reason why CW3 creep is slower spreading than CW4 so theres smaller maps so more compact and more focus on this amount of area.
I tried going eco first building 6 towers then 2 pulse cannons but that wasn't even close to anything as the creep just swarmed the backdoor in less than 20 seconds and pop my eco is down and i died. It's better if you scaled the map with CW4 parameters because a 20 amt per 15 frame emitter has zero problem in screwing my 2 cannons on 3 terrain layers higher.
2/10 great remake but gameplay not worth restarting 6 times.
