This is NOT a sleeper map. #Heavy-Creep #Sleeper-Strafer #Spore #Runner #Digitalis #Pump #Toggle-Pump #AC-Turret Good luck!!
I've always enjoyed your "choices" maps and this one is no exception... the pumps on the left are a pretty cool application - lots of fun using the pumps to beef up the AC! I wish there was a way to override the maximum limit though. I let it run for a long time until the AC was reading around 1400/s x 200, which clearly can't happen, but if you open up all the pumps it doesn't overload as badly.
Lotsa fun!
Thanks for the map! ;D ;D
Lovely map!
but.
You know how one usually measures game performance in frames per second?
Mine is down to seconds per frame. about 8 seconds, to be precise.

HA, actually finished it, in a time of 17 hours 14 minutes.
Which displays as 51:38, for some odd reason. Maybe too much potato poisoning.
i'm somewhat impressed you went that far into the game

I have not played this one yet but am still very impressed by that screenshot :o
Just gave it a go and really enjoyed it. Man, those pumps are powerful!!

Drop one of those aretfacts on the pumps on the left and then you can fly a CN over and nulify the emitter in the middle. Saves a lot of messing about with sprayers.
One thing i didn't understand was what was determining the power of the creep on the corner of the base islands? It seemed to be different on different loads without any obvious reason.

I'm not sure if this answers your question, but I noticed that each island has two pumps - one you can activate (the 100x) and one is automatic (200x). So if the creeper reaches that top level you're in big trouble. Thanks for the tip on that lower island, btw! That would definitely save a lot of time. ;)
Yeah you are right, takes a while to work out which pump does what! It would be handy if, on rollover, they had a line to the 'emitter' like Yum did on some early gates maps.

There, does this approach serve to sooth your offended sensibilities?
Spoiler
Thanks to D0m0nik's advice i have a lot faster progress and more AC to play with, reducing enemy buildup, allowing the use of less mortars, thus much (much!) less lag.

LOL, wow dude. That's a LOT of weapons.
I deleted everything and just used AC to win. No reactors or beams needed - but that took a lot longer. Nice time, Marvin!

Sooo true, dude. I usually just let the game run and see what each pump does at first and then restart. But your idea would make things much clearer. ;)

That's a really good idea... I will have to look into adding that feature on my next map!
