Surprisingly, I found this easier than the original even though it looked like it would be harder.

Really enjoy this kind of design - the two places to land, multiple upgrades available pretty quickly, the quick upgrading power-ups instead of having to upgrade each emitter... and then the boss with the 7 lives is great too. Love it!
