Wasn't a terribly difficult level. I tried pushing in to nullify the spores and nests, but it wasn't gonna happen with the rate eggs came out.

Nope, it was a nice relaxing level. You can't null the spore I think.

You can only nullify the nest as the spore launcher is too far in the dark (Beacon disabled).
There is small trick to get the eggs more organized:
