Neat mechanic used in this one.

Definitely a neat map! It took me a bit to figure out the mechanics, they're fairly straightforward but you can't really see how it works until you let it run a bit. I'd like to see a variation without the factory.

while there may be more than one way, the way I did it was to send anticreeper to the workshop in the north-west corner. It was important to manage my supply of anti-creeper well, by turning OFF anticreeper supply to some of the other units.

Note, it is also possible (but far more difficult) to beat the map without using the workshop but using brute firepower instead.

There is loads of energy that can be produced, and loads of open flat land.
There are also flying weapons that can backstab the creep anywhere on the map without getting damaged.
And I say backstab instead of attack for a reason.

Map is impossible to beat. Even filling every square on an island with mortars and cannons and filling it with all the AC you can make, still cant hold back the sheer amount of creeper that comes through the spouts. I have no idea what that workshop is supposed to do because you cant get to it before the creeper has already claimed that island. If the workshop is supposed to save our ass, then put it further back so we can actually reach it in time.

:D  You are, of course, welcome to your opinion. The number of scores in the player log would indicate that there is an opposite perspective and that the map is beatable. As my gandpappy used to say" "git gud"

Super fun map! I really liked the pacing and discovery.
Spoiler
From understanding how to use the factory, to being too late to save it, giving up and then realizing how you can beat the wave by using the factory from behind, to having to balance slowing down the wave's approach with killing it off from behind

Great job!

I really enjoyed this map. There are several ways to beat it that don't involve the factory.

Spoiler
Speed, speed, speed. You can nearly intercept the wave by the second or third box and then you can halt it before it continues, then just ground and pound it down.

Spoiler
Get on it from behind before it has a chance to build up too much momentum. Watching your AC chase it around the map was a trip.

Spoiler
Brute strength. Get in front, on the sides and then you can slow its progression, till you can whack its tail and then the cascading death is glorious.

I didn't think it was possible without using the Workshop. Well played, sir. :)

I could never figure out how to use the factory (and I still don't know how).

Spoiler
Here is an example of a pincer on it early with brute force. One of the tricks is not have too many weapons, otherwise the ones that need the energy the most run out of it when they need it. In the gif here, I ran out of energy losing the 5th box, where I might have been able to save it if I didn't have the cannons along the left.

Wow, I laughed out loud. That was really impressive .

Connect to the Workshop and feed it some Anti-Creeper.  It'll reward you.

I don't understand what Debug means in this context.

It was a setting I forgot from when I was creating and troubleshooting the unit.. It does nothing in the current form.

K75, this map was great fun. Took me a while to figure it out and almost lost my first play through. The second play was nearly an hour faster. Love the impeller mechanic.

Thanks muchly!  There are a few other maps using the same mechanic. They're awesome sun and you should definitely try them out.

Fun map, i wasn't sure what was happening in first play through and got demolished.
2nd play through i attacked the creeper tail as much as possible while trying to delay the front

In the end i was attacking the workshop square while the final square (before the base) was taken over. I was able to keep the creeper level low enough before i got the workshop producing anti creep bombs and the rest was easy.

I feel like it was quite balanced (for what i think was the intended playthrough)

I will tell you that my first lay-through on that map was quite different than the later, more optimal play-throughs. You can do it in multiple ways, with or woutout using the conversion bombs from the wworkshop,

Thanks for playing :)
