Desc:
This level is way better than the last two cursor levels. It doesn't require using singularities at all. Even though it's a short CSM level, you should give it a try. There are a lot of small things you can do to improve your time here. Or you can just sit back and play casually.

Short and small is good!

As an aside, I really like the cursor change, makes it a lot easier to play. :)

Great job with these maps! They're very fun yet have just enough challenges to keep them from becoming monotonous & boring. Love the small size too!

Hello,
I have to say I didn't enjoy the map too much. The description of the cursor emitters was not clear enough for me to understand. In the game, it wasn't clear if I set the target for all of them at once or for each one separately (and how), and the targeting seems to be buggy - sometimes some of the active emitters weren't emitting into the target - although I had a total of -50 available, the target said only -20; sometimes pressing U again with the cursor at the same spot changed the value, sometimes not. If there is a method to that madness, I don't know. Usually this was on terrain higher than 1.

So what would make this level better:
- make the units change visually when they go active, so that it's clear at first glance whether they are or not
- fix the targetting bug (or explain better how it behaves)
- explain better what the cursor emitters do

All of these are fixed in more recent versions of the cursor series. The scripts were visually bugged in this map and gave incorrect popup-texts too but at least the map it short enough that it shouldn't matter. The power indication of a target still only updates when you press it's button though because I like preventing lag.

If I may suggest something: I find that in most maps trying to understand them is just too stressful. Just start moving things around and pressing buttons and see what happens. I kinda just use the force to guide me and somehow most things seem to click.

I mean sure, you can memorize math formulas and get all stressed, or you can just plug in some numbers and see what kinda answer you get. The best calculator is a bag of potato chips. Drop the slide rule and grab a box of chocolates. Luke, trust me.  8)
