Even in space the Loci won't give in. They have an massive anti-airfield too. Good thing the Thor is SO powerful that it ignores said fields. And yes, these syphons and that message pod are there to slow your progress.

You don't have to press the button to end the map when you win, you can still interact with the messages/dialogue box if it is present. About the message, I am afraid I don't remember. I made so much maps in a short time by now...
